Meet the Artist

Elizabeth Giessinger (She/They, 27)

I was born and raised in Oregon, I attended Parsons the New School for Design as well as University of Oregon, graduating with a BA in Art History and Fine Art. I have worked as a Painting Instructor, Mechanic, Fabricator, Framer, Portrait Painter, Muralist, Costumer, Jeweler- as well as experimented on my own time with digital illustration, sculpture, woodworking, metalsmithing, fashion design, garment making, glassworking, graphic design, and more. When I'm not doing art I enjoy bingeing old sitcoms with my pug Mazie, taking lazy swims in the river, game nights, trivia, going to libraries and museums, and cooking spicy food. As a queer, neurodivergent artist, my point of view often includes themes of self expression, queer sexuality and gender, mental health, neurodivergence, body positivity, sex positivity, and feminism. However, the greater intention of any piece I make is to act as a reminder of how delightfully pretty the little things in life can be. I hope that my art makes at least one person smile, and if that happens to be you, please consider supporting me by buying a print of my work, commissioning a piece, or following and sharing my work on social media. Thank you!
